Part loads

At the beginning of 2009 A2B-online increased it's transport to the UK with a part load activity.
This activity is based in the town of Schuttorf in Germany, strategically positioned just over the Dutch border near Oldenzaal.Together with a group of own, part load and groupage educated drivers our team of specialized part load consignment employees runs a fleet of 110 trailers.

The fleet mainly consists of MEGA-trailers and each week some 700 consignments are delivered, if need be on a next day service schedule, in the UK.
A significant proportion of the trailer fleet are fitted with a second trailer floor, allowing non stackable consignments to be co-loaded safe and efficiently. Daily departures of some 20 trailers take care of delivery of some 95% of the consignments to the UK and Ireland on wheels.

The remaining 5% is delivered through our network in the UK: Palletforce. Each night some 105 trailers gather at the Palletforce Burton on Trent central hub where all consignments get transhipped to the correct trailer for delivery in the UK. Through track and trace we co-ordinate these consignments. Deliveries to inner city centres, private addresses and tail-lift deliveries, among others, are taken care of through this network as per agreement with the customer.
